Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver products to clients while adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Actively engage with customers during deliveries, promoting products and providing information to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain an organized schedule for deliveries and ensure timely arrivals to meet customer expectations.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately, maintaining a balanced cash register during daily operations.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist in loading and unloading products, ensuring proper handling to minimize damage and maintain quality.
- Document delivery routes and customer interactions in detail to provide accurate reporting and feedback to management.
- Implement effective sales strategies during delivery interactions to drive product awareness and increase sales.
- Represent the company professionally at all times, fostering strong relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional sales training or certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within the retail or logistics industries.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Familiarity with the local area and route optimization for efficient deliveries.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
- Physically fit to lift and transport products, ensuring safe handling during deliveries.
