Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and dependable Light Vehicle Delivery Driver to transport goods and food items to customers and business locations in a timely and professional manner. The driver will be responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering products using company-provided light vehicles while ensuring proper handling, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company-assigned light vehicle (van or small truck) to deliver goods and food items.
Load and unload items carefully to prevent damage or spoilage.
Ensure timely delivery to customers, restaurants, stores, or distribution points.
Confirm delivery details, obtain signatures, and collect payments or receipts when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle, especially when transporting food.
Comply with food safety and handling regulations during transportation.
Report any delays, vehicle issues, or delivery problems to the supervisor immediately.
Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in delivery of both dry goods and perishable food items.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Familiarity with using GPS or delivery mobile apps.
