Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a valid heavy vehicle driving license, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle long-distance trips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy trucks and trailers to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and trip reports as required.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or violations to the fleet manager.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and company policies.
- Keep the truck clean and ensure regular maintenance and servicing.
- Assist with basic vehicle troubleshooting when needed.
Requirements:
- Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license .
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in heavy truck driving.
- Knowledge of local and international transportation regulations.
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and vehicle maintenance.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling cargo if required.
