Job description
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks on both the truck and the crane to ensure they are in good working condition.
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of handling gears and the mechanical operation of the truck.
· Interpret load charts and job specifications to determine appropriate crane setup and lifting techniques.
· Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to ensure smooth and safe lifting operations.
· Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving the truck.
· Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and crane usage.
Requirements:
· A valid truck driving license (License No: 4).
· Proven experience as a truck driver, specifically with a crane.
· Knowledge of and ability to handle the truck’s gears.
· Experience in operating a crane and a strong understanding of its mechanisms and safety procedures.
· Ability to read and interpret site plans and load charts.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· A commitment to safety and a clean driving record.
