The Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations in a timely and professional manner. The role requires strong attention to safety, excellent driving skills, and good customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company or assigned vehicles following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport passengers, products, or materials to designated destinations on schedule.
- Load and unload goods as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, both inside and outside, at all times.
- Perform routine checks on vehicle condition (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.) and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
- Assist passengers with luggage and ensure their comfort and safety during travel (for personal or company chauffeur roles).
- Follow assigned routes or GPS directions efficiently and safely.
- Comply with company policies, road safety standards, and delivery protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid driver’s license (Min. 1 year) appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Light Vehicle).
- Familiarity with local routes, traffic patterns, and GPS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, if required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and professional appearance.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
