Job description
As a commercial vehicle driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. Your role will involve operating a variety of heavy-duty vehicles, including buses and trucks, to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
• Load and unload materials from vehicles, ensuring that they are properly secured and balanced.
• Operate vehicles in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle damage or malfunction to your supervisor.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Excellent driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
