Ambulance Driver Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities : Answers phone calls politely and professionally using proper telephone etiquette. Adheres to the hospital policy HPP-206 “Identification of Patient”.

Ensures that the work area is kept clean and organized at all times.

Operates the Ambulance safely and in accordance with regulations from Police Department Policies, Road Transport Authority (RTA), and Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS).

Lifts and carries an adult safely via the stretcher with assistance.

Ensures the DCAS office is fully stocked and maintained clean.

Directs and supports DCAS and other ambulance service providers arriving at the hospital’s Ambulance receiving area.

Assists emergency patients arriving outside the Emergency Department.

Maintains a safe working environment by complying with DCAS standards.

Performs daily mechanical checks and schedules vehicle servicing as per manufacturer guidelines. Remains calm under difficult circumstances and handles interruptions effectively.

Assists the Emergency Department team as needed.

Performs additional duties as required. Participates in on-call duties and responds after hours. Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licensed as an Ambulance Driver with Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Service (DCAS).

Valid UAE Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driving License. Heart Saver First Aid certification with CPR, AED, and BLS.

Personal Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Licensed Ambulance Driver with DCAS.

Previous experience in a pre-hospital or hospital environment preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; basic spoken Arabic is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminologies.

Proficiency in basic computer programs.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Critical thinking skills using logic and reasoning to evaluate situations.

Selective attention maintaining focus over time without distraction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Flexibility and adaptability in various situations. Strong attention to detail.
