JOB DESCRIPTION:
To safely operate and maintain a 3-ton vehicle for the timely delivery and transportation of goods as per company requirements, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a 3-ton vehicle to transport goods to assigned destinations.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of items to clients or warehouse locations.
• Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle (tires, brakes, fuel, lights, etc.) and report any issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Load and unload items ensuring proper handling and stacking.
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules.
• Ensure that all transport documentation is completed correctly.
• Report any accidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Requirements:
• Valid Light/Medium Vehicle Driving License (for 3-ton vehicles).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience driving a 3-ton vehicle, preferably in a logistics or delivery environment.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic laws.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
