Job Summary:
The Heavy Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating large passenger buses to transport employees, students, or passengers as per assigned routes and schedules. The role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and adherence to traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate heavy buses to transport passengers to and from designated locations
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Ensure the bus is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy at all times
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel, and passenger logs
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking if required
- Follow route schedules and adjust in case of traffic delays or emergencies
- Cooperate with supervisors and dispatchers for routing or schedule updates
- Handle minor roadside emergencies or coordinate with the fleet maintenance team
- Report any accidents, delays, or incidents immediately
License/Certification:
- UAE Heavy Bus Driving License (Required)
